I graduated from the University of West Alabama with a BS degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have taught the 6th, 5th and 4th grades. This is my first year teaching at West Blocton Elementary School. My family just moved to Bibb County from Demopolis, Alabama last year. I am married to Matt Hartzell who works for the Extension office in Bibb County through Auburn University. We have two children. A daughter who is 21 and a son who is 8. We love living in Bibb County! We love Alabama Football even though Auburn pays our bills!!
